Active learning with conceptual modelling

Learners work self-guided on assignments and use DynaLearn. DynaLearn is an online application for building conceptual models. A lesson takes approximately two hours and aligns with regular course material.

Denker started in grade 8 and 9 of secondary education with the subjects biology, physics, geography and economics. During the project, material will be developed up to grade 11.

Denker is a SIA RAAK-PRO project,
managed by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Interactive support

The software automatically supports learners during the modelling process using norm models.

Teacher dashboard

The teacher can follow the work of each learner online and provide individual support where necessary.

Collaborative learning

In the collaborative learning mode learners can work on the shared model from their own computer.
